Freedom from academic pressure and competition

From the June 1978 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The eagle doesn't run away from the wind or get pulled apart by it. He rides the wind and soars higher because of it. He asserts his dominion over it. How can we assert our dominion over pressure?

The basis for working this out is to see who we really are and what we are. A basic question is, What is man? Is he a biological, cellular, electrochemical organism? If he's just a bunch of organized protoplasm, spinning around a hot star and moving inexorably toward death, he's more like a falling leaf than a soaring eagle.

Man is, in reality, the idea of the one, all-intelligent, self-creative, infinite, divine Mind, God. He was never born in matter as the result of biological reproduction; has never been labeled black or white or red or yellow; has never been programmed by ancestral punch cards. He's the result of divine Mind's knowing of itself.
