The most freeing place to be? Church!

From the June 1978 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"That's so much 'pie in the sky.' At church I usually feel very unfree. Very conformist. As though I've got to play a role and adjust my individuality in some aspects. I've got to dress in a certain way, I suspect, and hold particular political views to really fit in ..."

Let's face up to it. The church is not so much a place as a state of thought. And the thought that's important is our own.

"Our church is built on
the divine Principle, Love. We can unite with this church only as we are new-born of Spirit, as we reach the Life which is Truth and the Truth which is Life by bringing forth the fruits of Love,—casting out error and healing the sick."
