"Martha, Martha . . ."

Are you too busy to do the things you wish to do? For example, does something often seem to prevent your study of Christian Science? If so, rebel! God, our Father-Mother, gives man dominion. His omnipotent love imparts joy, peace, and freedom now, and we can prove this in the degree that we understand it.

But sometimes necessary human duties demand so much attention that it seems impossible to take time for study or recreation. This need not be, for when spiritual vision precedes action, things proceed expeditiously.

Was not this one thing Jesus was pointing out to Martha when she complained that while she worked her sister Mary sat listening to him? Rather than giving sympathy, Christ Jesus replied, "Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Luke 10:41, 42;
