Next month in the Journal

From the October 1979 issue of The Christian Science Journal

True refuge

"There are no refugees in God's universal family, and His goodness is always flowing impartially to all. . . . Our persistent affirmation of divine Love's control on earth, as in heaven, will aid in healing world problems of displaced persons everywhere."

Elegant thoughts

"If we are to follow Jesus' example of dominion over matter and of scientific, spiritual healing power, then we must learn to know ourselves as he knew himself—as the image of perfect Principle, an image evidenced in perfect and spiritual consciousness. We must learn to live this Christ-spirit, letting Truth move us from thought to perfect thought. This action is spiritual elegance in practical performance."

Places of healing

". . . a period of convalescence professes to be the gradual regaining of health, but it is more accurately described as the gradual elimination of the results of false education. The period required for this to happen may vary, but when the self-deception is clearly seen, the healing is instantly complete. "

Nursing

The November Journal will also include several articles, poems, and an editorial on Christian Science nursing.
