FROM THE DIRECTORS

From the November 1981 issue of The Christian Science Journal

We are pleased to announce the appointment of William E. Moody, C.S.B., of New Orleans, Louisiana, as an additional Associate Editor of The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, and The Herald of Christian Science. On October 1 Mr. Moody joined Nathan A. Talbot and Beulah M. Roegge as the third Associate Editor. Each of them, along with DeWitt John, Editor, will be writing editorials for all the Christian Science religious periodicals. Mr. Moody is already known to many readers through his frequent contributions to the periodicals.

After graduation from Tulane University, New Orleans, where he majored in English, Mr. Moody spent a few years in the real estate business. He is a practitioner listed in The Christian Science Journal and a teacher of Christian Science. In 1974 he was appointed Committee on Publication for the State of Louisiana. Before moving to Boston, Mr. Moody was a member of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, New Orleans, and has served in a wide variety of activities, including Sunday School teacher and First Reader.

This new position has been created as part of a program designed to strengthen the usefulness of the Christian Science periodicals to their readers.
