If we're faced with sickness, we can understand the spiritual facts that will heal us. We are able to heal disease because it's not real in the first place. God's perfect, spiritual creation is always in the first place—the only place. In God's creation there's no room for disease.
All disease feeds on the mortal belief in corporeality—on the mistaken conviction that man thinks by mortal process, that man possesses a material personality and lives in a fleshly body. Christian Science proves this universal belief to be false.
Man's only individuality, his complete character and being, is the reflection of Spirit. Our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, writes, "The one Ego, the one Mind or Spirit called God, is infinite individuality, which supplies all form and comeliness and which reflects reality and divinity in individual spiritual man and things." Science and Health, p. 281.
