The power of our church services

From the February 1981 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Time and place do not determine the availability of spiritual truth. Anytime, anywhere, we can benefit from the abundant flow of good that God is pouring out everywhere. "Church" doesn't happen just on Sunday and Wednesday or only when we're sitting in a pew.

But how vital our Sunday services and Wednesday testimony meetings can be to the healing work of Christian Science! For branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Societies these events are the center around which other activities are built. Even individuals unable to attend regularly can both contribute to and benefit from our services' effective operation.

Compelling inspiration and a tender, comforting mental embrace for all who are present are needed.
