The healing our daughter has related took place over a number of years. The lessons we learned during that time have been some of the most fruitful of our lives Our entire family—Beverlee, her two brothers, my wife, and I—would, on occasion, join together in prayer. At other times, each of us prayed alone in separate parts of our home. Sometimes we shared the inspirations we found helpful. It was a time of deep and loving family support and unity that in the years since has greatly blessed us all.
My wife and I grew in grace while we grew in an understanding of our relationship to God as the heavenly Parent, and our daughter's relationship to Him as her true Parent. We learned not to allow our compassion and desire to aid her to become stifling human sympathy and personal attachment. We strove to avoid attaching any history or reality to this condition.
It became clear that in creating man, God gave him dominion, and that this was God's undeniable gift to our daughter and to us. Her unshakable dedication and devotion to God, her deep desire to know Him better—not just for relief but for true spiritual growth—were truly an inspiration. It is surely with treasured joy and a heart full of gratitude to God that I verify her healing.
