Practicing the intelligence that removes limitation

From the August 1982 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Humans have a tendency to feel limited. Frequently there's not enough health, intelligence, supply, beauty, joy, peace, and fulfillment in our lives, so we think. The blame for such limitation is due, we suppose, to age, ignorance, heredity, a false sense of ego, the actions of others, or any number of material circumstances. So what can be done about the frustration of limitation?

In Christian Science, limitation is removed, individually and collectively, through the understanding and practice of the presence of divine Mind, the infinite intelligence, God, who knows no limitation and supplies all good. Let's see how this metaphysical truth helps us.

The Bible abounds with incidents of faithful ones overcoming cruel confines and gaining a deeper joy, here on earth. We're mindful of the few loaves and fishes that were multiplied to feed thousands, as well as Daniel's release from the lions' den, Paul's escape from the poisonous viper, and, of course, Christ Jesus' resurrection and ascension.
