Birth thoughts

From the October 1983 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Not born at a pace
too fast or slow, and
ignorant to know
action or place
But
wholly now
complete and pure
the God-idea
reflected sure
within His love.

Not final result
of pressure, pain,
not material work
created again
But
unbounded child
born to thought
known always
as what
His hand has wrought.
