"Your dual and impersonal pastor, the Bible, and 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,' is with you; and the Life these give, the Truth they illustrate, the Love they demonstrate, is the great Shepherd that feedeth my flock, and leadeth them 'beside the still waters'" (Miscellaneous Writings by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 322).
The focal point for this year's Annual Meeting will be the Christian Science pastor—the Bible, and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by our Leader. As provided in Article XIII, Section 1, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mrs. Eddy, Annual Meeting will include reports from the Treasurer, Clerk, committees, and general reports from the Field. These reports will relate directly to the theme of the pastor—showing its impact on individual lives and branch churches.
This theme will also be carried forward in a special issue of The Christian Science Journal, the August issue. It will include articles and editorials pertaining to the pastor's mission, as well as reports of the Annual Meeting. This will enable members all over the world, very few of whom will be able to attend the Annual Meeting, to share in this timely message.
