TRUE CLASSIFICATION

From the March 1986 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Not henceforth after the flesh
Know we any man,
But after the Christly pattern—
The Father's plan.
No more explore
Vagaries of the human mind,
But man's true being
As Soul's reflection seek and find.
We do not pigeonhole
In terms of human merit,
But see all individuality
Distinct in Spirit.
And so—the basis of our judgment sure—
Friendship has facets,
But remains secure.
