An issue of the Christian Science Sentinel during 1976 reported some of the healings and demonstrations of the effectiveness of Christian Science in my experience. One which I did not mention was the healing of headaches.
For many years I suffered occasional severe headaches, always, it seemed, when I had special things to do. Frequently the headaches were overcome in a short time through prayer, usually centered on a spiritual truth from the Bible or a statement from the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. But the headaches continued to occur from time to time.
Recently I realized that I have not had a headache for such a long time that I don't remember the last one. It has been years. As I look back I realize that this came about through an increased understanding of God's control of my life.
