How grateful I am for Christian Science!
On returning to the United States after having lived abroad for several years, I made an appointment with a reputable dentist I had gone to previously to have my teeth cleaned. X-rays were taken at the dentist's request. Afterward, much to my surprise, he informed me that I had twelve to fifteen cavities and that two teeth needed to be pulled, in addition to other problems. (I had noticed some discomfort when I ate sweets and been aware of a few cavities, but nothing so extensive as what the dentist indicated.) I felt devastated.
Almost immediately, however, the name of a Christian Science practitioner came to mind. As soon as I arrived home I telephoned him, explained what I had been told, and asked him if he would help me through Christian Science treatment. He lovingly agreed to pray for me; this brought great comfort. (I did not have the cavities filled.)
