Church Bulletin Board

From the November 1988 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Whether at a shopping mall, on a college campus, or in the foyer of a church, a bulletin board is a great place for people to share information. You can learn a lot about an active community from reading local bulletin boards. We hope you'll enjoy this bulletin board and feel encouraged to join in and share experiences.

It took me a while to realize how a prayer of mine had been answered. We moved to another part of the state and transferred our membership to the Christian Science branch church near our new home. In praying about the move ... I slipped in a not-so-subtle "Please, God, no Reading Room or Sunday School appointments this time around. "(Now I know better than to pray like that, but there it was!)
