My sister was able to feel the healing effect of the law of eternal Life through reading The Herald of Christian Science when she was suffering from a serious illness that had troubled her for years. During those years she had medical treatment, without gaining permanent relief or healing.
Suddenly she had begun to hemorrhage and was taken quickly to an emergency clinic. There the doctors, after making an internal examination of her stomach, diagnosed that she had numerous perforated ulcers. In their opinion she could not be operated on; consequently surgery could do nothing for her.
