Heredity and healing

From the November 1990 issue of The Christian Science Journal

For those who are looking to God, divine Mind, for healing—and who are learning of the mental nature of human experience—it's simply impractical to ignore larger trends of thought in the sciences.

The phenomenal growth of genetic research since the early 1950s holds out increasingly bold promises to people. What we think about genetics—or the so-called laws of heredity—now seems to have a strong grip on human experience, encompassing people's health, intellect, talents.
