A Bible phrase reads, "Bring an offering unto the Lord" (Leviticus). As I thought about this, I felt compelled to write this testimonial as my offering of gratitude for the healing power of Truth I've demonstrated through my study and practice of Christian Science.
As a child I attended the Christian Science Sunday School occasionally. I remember being impressed with the concept that there is a God of love who cares for us. However, it wasn't until some years later, after meeting the woman who was to become my wife, that I took up the study of Christian Science. My first healing resulted not long after this.
I had suffered from a sinus condition on and off for some time. Medication had given me only temporary relief. I was introduced to a Christian Science practitioner, who agreed to give me Christian Science treatment for this condition. Within a short time I was completely healed of the difficulty that had troubled me for years. What relief this was! I was very grateful. This healing brought me back to Christian Science, and into studying the weekly Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly, and to Mother Church membership and branch church membership and attendance.
