Many people are now finding themselves having to think about questions in the fields of science, theology, and medicine—and questions of social justice, education, economic reform. More and more, people see that these questions have a practical impact on their daily lives.

In the words of the Preface to Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, "The time for thinkers has come." And in this month's Journal we continue a series in the Threshold section: "Thinking about Christian Science and. ..." These articles generally alternate with the series "Theology and healing" and other special features.
