For a long time The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel have been such a source of joy to me that I wish to give this testimony of healing in the hope it will help others.
Several months ago, while preparing dinner for my family, I accidently spilled boiling water down one leg. Words from that week's Bible Lesson (in the Christian Science Quarterly) came to me. In speaking of Moses' instantly vanishing leprosy, Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health: "The illusion of Moses lost its power to alarm him, when he discovered that what he apparently saw was really but a phase of mortal belief."
My own injury appeared serious. Not sure how to care for the wound, I telephoned a local Christian Science nursing facility to talk with a Christian Science nurse. Her calm words reassured me.
