In my early twenties I was not living a very moral life. During this time I became ill and finally went to a doctor. He said that I had the flu. As each day passed, my health grew worse until I couldn't get out of bed.
This is when I turned to God for healing. Because I had been raised in Christian Science, I knew that I could be healed through this Science. I called my mother, and she came to get me and took me home. A Christian Science practitioner was called.
At this time I was very hazy mentally and my eyes had crossed. When the practitioner would speak to me, it was like water pouring off a duck's back. Nevertheless, I tried to follow her explanation of my spiritual relationship to God.
