The new chaplain at Styal Women's Prison agreed that a Christian Science worker could use the "Chaplain's Hour" one Wednesday evening to show the video lecture The Ring of Truth.
The chaplain conducted us to one of the houses, which was given over to educational use, where a room was arranged informally for the showing of the video. During the ten to fifteen minutes before the chaplain started the film, a group of about twenty-five women assembled, including two (or perhaps three) warders. The women came voluntarily.
The atmosphere throughout was friendly, and we felt the hunger for healing. The remainder of the hour was then given over to questions, which were good and lively and ranged over Christian Science beliefs and practices and the organization of our Church.
