"Finally, a chance to actually meet one." That was my first thought when finding out a co-worker had been raised in Christian Science. All my questions were the normal ones for the layman to ask. After a great deal of patient responding she presented me with a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. My expectations were low, and with meager curiosity I began to read. However, by the time I had completed the first chapter, I knew I had been introduced to something amazing.
During the next months, this co-worker offered me other Christian Science literature, which I read with great interest. And I began to notice radical changes in my life.
Healings began to take place. The love between my husband and me deepened into a larger understanding and appreciation. Harmony in the home became more evident. Financial problems that had seemed overwhelming were solved almost as easily as Christ Jesus provided the means to pay a tax (see Matthew) .
