"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all...

From the April 1991 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits" (Psalms) . This was the answer to my prayer for words to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science. The peace, harmony, and freedom I have received over many years of applying spiritual rules to daily living convince me of the practical value of this way of life.

The "benefits" received since the publication of my testimony in a February 1956 issue of the Sentinel are too numerous to recount. In our family of three children, who now have families of their own, we have had many healings.

Most important to me are the spiritual understanding, appreciation, and application of the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount. A pure desire to follow the teachings of Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and love of the revelation of divine Science and the Discoverer and Founder of this Science, Mrs. Eddy, have given me and the children a solid, unshakable foundation for our spiritual growth.
