After a lifetime of protection, direction, and healing through the daily study and application of Christian Science, it is time that I submit this heartfelt testimony of gratitude!
My father became a Christian Science practitioner when I was very young. As a result, whenever I had any difficulty, he was immediately aware of it and healed the problem through prayer. I realize now that my well-being was always in the hands of God, my true Father Mother; that is where my dad placed it in his prayers. However, I relied heavily upon him if there was need for healing.
My college years were filled with occasions to prove my own understanding of God and my relationship to him. I was able to demonstrate skill and stamina in sports. Although I was short and light in weight, I kept in my mind the fact that I reflected God and my ability came from Him; and I was able to run faster and exhibit skills of an exemplary nature in field hockey.
