Last July, the Journal included excerpts from interviews with several Christian Science practitioners (pages 17-21). We asked them, how they had come to devote their lives to helping others through prayer.
Readers found their responses useful and encouraging—and asked for more. That sounded like a good idea to us, too. After all, nothing is closer to our hearts than Christianity made practical in healing.
So we spoke with several more men and women in the public practice of Christian Science healing. Most have been practitioners for quite a few years, but we asked if they'd be willing to think back to some of the early challenges and lessons.
