The April Journal included notes from a Christian Scientist visiting Romania in May 1991 on behalf of the Clerk's Department of The Mother Church.
Mrs. Verena Linning from Hamburg, Germany, met with a number of Romanians who had become interested in Christian Science in recent years. Christian Science had been prohibited by the communist regime for nearly a half-century.
Last fall Mrs. Linning made a second trip to Bucharest. Notes from her journal are excerpted here.
