I have relied on Christian Science my entire life and have been healed many times. I can wait no longer to express my gratitude!
When I graduated from high school, I made no plans to attend college because I lacked the funds. I remember some of my high-school teachers were very upset that I was not going on to college, but from my perspective I had no other choice. A few years later, however, I did take one of the most important steps of my life; I took Primary class instruction in Christian Science. Not six months after class I was attending college full time! I know that "put [ting] off the old man" and learning about myself as a child of God—free from material limitation of any kind—was what allowed me to take these steps.
About twelve years ago I found myself suffering from a sinus condition. I felt tremendous pressure in my head, and bending over became almost impossible. I was able to go to work but had to spend nights propped up on pillows because I couldn't lie flat. Finally in desperation I asked God what I needed to know. The thought came to read the last chapter in Science and Health, entitled "Fruitage," which contains testimonies of those healed just by reading this book. I resisted this thought at first, but it came so persistently that I obeyed. Many of the testimonies in this chapter are written by people who were near death's door and had tried Christian Science only as a last resort. I found myself reading far into the night. At one point that night I realized I was completely healed and have never had a recurrence of the problem.
