From the Editors:

Thinking together about the Journal's mission

From the November 1994 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In the August 1994 issue of the Journal, an editorial, titled "The Christian Science Journal: 'to put on record the divine Science of Truth,'" invited readers and contributors to join us in "the ongoing task of understanding more clearly— and thus fulfilling more effectively—the distinct mission Mary Baker Eddy intended for each of the Christian Science periodicals . . ." As the entire staff of these magazines has been working and praying along these lines in recent months, you may have been noticing a few changes taking place here and there in the appearance and the layout of the Journal, as well as a sharpening of focus in its content. From time to time we expect there will be further modifications, as they are indicated by the ongoing demand to put the divine Science of Truth on record.

Please do be in touch with us to let us know how you find that the Journal is fulfilling its mission. We welcome your ideas. And we will be happy to respond to any questions or comments.
