Yes, you are a Bible translator!

From the November 1994 issue of The Christian Science Journal

You don't have to know Hebrew or Greek to be a modern Bible translator. You already have all the qualifications for the job. And the world so needs what you have to give—your compassion, your caring, your natural love for God.

Now, I can just hear you saying, "Look, an article in this very magazine says there are over three thousand modern Bible translations. There are 'Hip Hop' Bibles and 'Rock' Bibles and TV Bibles. So you sure don't need one more Bible translation from me!"

Well, there are lots of Bible translations. But the sad fact is this: many people who own these Bibles are not reading them.
