I am very thankful to have attended a Christian Science church, where our children could go to Sunday School. One of their teachers was a Christian Science practitioner, whose joy simply overflowed. When he was called upon to pray for our youngest child, diagnosed medically as having a probably fatal case of spinal meningitis, the child was quickly healed. Predicted deafness related to the disease also did not come about.
Through the years, when I have turned wholeheartedly to God for guidance in times of trouble, our family has been blessed with healings, and we have had everything we needed.
After my husband passed away, diligent prayer made possible the repayment in full of all debts. Funds often came from unexpected sources, including bonuses at my work. At one time when a balloon mortgage payment was due, of which I had been unaware, someone unexpectedly offered to purchase one of the horses we had raised. The amount offered and accepted subsequently proved to be exactly equal to the amount of the payment, and came at just the time it was needed.
