Sunday School: preparation for healing

Original in Indonesian

From the February 1994 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Whether a Christian Science Sunday School is located in Argentina, Nigeria, the United States, or elsewhere around the world, one element it shares with all the others is a love for healing. This talk, given by Rosana Darmadi to Christian Scientists in Indonesia, shares healings that pupils in their country experienced as a result of what they had learned in Sunday School.

When I was eighteen years old, I was invited to attend the Christian Science Sunday School. At first I felt ill at ease because I was already grown, but since the Christian Science Sunday School really is intended for pupils up to twenty years of age, I decided to go.

After attending Sunday School for two years, I clearly understood how important that opportunity was, because we discussed the Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly and how to gain a spiritual understanding of the Bible as brought to light in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
