Christian Science came to my attention in the waning days of the Second World War, during the severe bombing raids that we Berlin civilians had to endure. My family was always protected. We then moved here to western Poland in 1948. Our loving Father-Mother God has protected us here, too.
Now a time has come when the ability to interpret the German language is again in demand. I was asked to tutor, and although a simple working woman, I decided to take up this offer. Initial insecurity left me as I noticed that my prayers were successful—that God is intelligence and therefore I could reflect intelligence! Children and parents appreciate my patience in explaining my mother tongue. I thank divine Love with all my heart for this.
With a grateful heart I'd now like to tell about a healing that occurred in March 1993. A severe flu prevailed in my area. Daily I visited and tended to a dear friend who was ill and is raising three grandchildren. I spoke to her of Truth, of the divine presence, in a way I hoped she could understand. Before going to her home, I would pray.
