A report of this year 's Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, held on June 5, was printed in the July issue of the Journal. At that time, space did not permit the following Field reports. These signs of progress among branch churches around the world are vital indicators of the healing mission of Christian Science today.
What is today's paper telling us about the needs of our city, and how can our Reading Room respond with a message from the pastor? Is our Reading Room visible and available to our neighbors? What if we turned to Mary Baker Eddy's Church Manual as our Reading Room's blueprint for progress?
During the next half-hour, we're going to find out how branch churches have been searching for answers to these kinds of questions. We'll be talking by telephone to individual members from various locations. We'll begin by talking with Marta Greenwood.
