Forever dearly loved

From the December 1997 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Dear one,
you're God's perfect child,
cared for, joyous, undefiled.
Thoughts of evil cannot bind
the vital potency of Mind.
Error's phantom dreams are naught.
Love is "at the helm of thought."See Mary Baker Eddy, Miscellaneous Writings, p. 113.

Loved one,
sorrow cannot be a tower,
to O'ershadow Spirit's power.
Cast aside fear's dismal blight,
let Mind lift you o'er your plight.
Love's gentle balm stills every sigh.
His precious touch is ever nigh.

Precious one,
you express Spirit's radiant being.
Nothing can impede your seeing
of the Father's holy plan
for His cherished likeness, man.

Cherished one,
you're a beam of purest light.
God sustains your stand for right.
Stay within His strong embrace,
and behold His perfect grace.

Perfect one,
yours is everlasting gladness,
wiping out all trace of sadness.
Thrust out error's every scheme;
see that good is power supreme.
Then awake to clearer view:
forever dearly loved are you!
