I wish to express my gratitude for the spiritual understanding and healings that have resulted from fifty years of studying the Science of Christianity. One of the most important lessons I've learned is that one must persist regardless of the roadblocks that appear to interfere with healing. The following experience, which spanned sixteen years, resulted in both permanent healing and profound insight into the spiritual nature of creation.
In 1980 I developed heart arrhythmia attributed to severe stress. Persistent news reports at that time, about how deadly heart arrhythmia was, only added to my anxiety.
For the next sixteen years I seemed to function as two persons. I tried to be loving and caring to my family, friends, and co-workers; my engineering work was extremely successful and resulted in significant benefit to the nation and our company; I continued studying Christian Science, attending church fairly regularly; and I had many other healings through prayer. But I also continued to indulge in a deep disgust with those in power who were doing bad things.
