Recently, while taking Primary class instruction in Christian Science, I woke with an overwhelming feeling of pressure in my head, resulting in fatigue and loss of clarity. I proceeded with considerable effort to class that day, all the while attempting to recall and apply the truths that were already becoming clearer and more tangible to me just a few days into the class experience. The irony of this did not escape me. However, a certain amount of fear was present, as I had undergone several bouts with this condition in recent years, with the symptoms escalating to the point of extreme pain, nausea, and the feeling of being on the brink of losing consciousness. As I arrived at class, I still felt foggy, and I asked my teacher for treatment.
As the day progressed, the symptoms became more aggressive, and I also had the odd feeling, especially considering where I was, of being "unloved." After class I went to my teacher and informed her of what I was contending with, requesting further treatment. I don't recall exactly what she said, but I do recall being told of my ability to deny this condition any place in my consciousness.
When I arrived at class
in the morning, I was well.
