Robbery halted through active prayer

From the July 1998 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Serving as a volunteer in our Christian Science Reading Room in Ohio, I had a wonderful experience one Saturday morning.

Money had been taken from the Reading Room several days previously. The head librarian had alerted the assistant librarians about this, and we began praying. We were knowing that all who come into our Reading Room are actually God's ideas, His reflection; and therefore, only honesty could be expressed there.

On this particular Saturday when I came into the Reading Room, I left my purse locked in the car, as I had several articles to carry. The Reading Room money, obtained from sales of its products, was still locked in a small safe behind the librarian's desk.
