We sat down for a snack at school. I took a bite and threw up. My teacher helped me get cleaned up. She put me in new clothes and then she called my mommy. Mommy came and we went home. Then she called Daddy. Mommy read me the Bible Lesson. I fell asleep. I woke up and I was all better and I played with Daddy. I bounced the kangaroo on Daddy's head!

In January of 1997 I received a call from my daughter's preschool teacher saying that she had been involved in a collision with another child and had fallen hard on her head. The other child was fine, but Elissa wanted to go home. On my way to the preschool I prayed and felt the assurance of God's present care. By the time I arrived to pick her up, my daughter had vomited. The teacher felt that Elissa might have a concussion. She lovingly explained what I should look for and urged me to take Elissa to the hospital or clinic if she did not act like herself again quickly.
