HOW INCREDIBLE! God loves me. I am His precious child, special, individual. He adores me, delights in me, and tenderly provides for me. Never before had I been so spiritually uplifted and deeply touched as I was by these ideas, which I heard at a Christian Science lecture.
Leaving the auditorium, I felt as though I had been with a best friend who was sharing wonderful insights into God's infinite love for His creation. One scripture the lecturer read really spoke to me. It says, "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God."
I John 3:1. To me, this meant that we all have a perfect relationship to our Father-Mother God; that He knows and approves of us as His perfect spiritual offspring. I felt great joy in realizing that I am worthy of His love.
I had an emptiness watching others celebrate.
