Recently, while attending a conference in a distant city, I woke on the second morning and jumped into the shower, eager to begin preparations for another day.
When I reached for the soap, however, I found it virtually welded to the bottom of its niche, where it had dried the previous day. It took all my might, and both hands, to pry the soap loose—and when it broke free, it shot straight into my eye with great force.
I insisted on my
right to freedom
and harmony
under God's law.
