I wish to express my deep and sincere gratitude for Mary Baker Eddy and her wonderful discovery, Christian Science, and for her book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Through studying this book and demonstrating the truths found in it, I have experienced good health for over sixty years.
In my early days of studying Christian Science, while I was driving home one day I suddenly had a very serious headache. It was so bad that I could hardly drive. When I got home I lay down on the sofa and repeated over and over to myself "thescientific statement of being" from Science and Health (see p. 468), affirming the truth of its statements. In less than twenty minutes I was up and perfectly free. Since that day I have never had another headache.
The doctors thought the birth of my last child would be a long delivery. I said to myself "That can't be. God's work is done. His creation is complete." The birth happened very quickly, to the doctors' amazement.
