THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE

From the May 2000 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Since God is everywhere and He is good,
There can be no better place
Than the very one where you are right now.

For even if shadows seem abiding there—
Of sin, disease, or other trouble—look around.
All is not darkness and despair.

Wherever shadows are there must be light!
Follow the light and let it lead to God.
All shadows flee before His loving presence.

For He is Light and Truth and Life.
He fills all space with dark-dispelling goodness.
Can there be a better place to be?
