Effects of fall overcome

From the April 2001 issue of The Christian Science Journal

ONE MORNING RECENTLY, I had walked but a short distance from my home when I fell and sustained extensive abrasions and bruising to my face. Two passerby came to help, and kindly took me home at my request.

I contacted a Christian Science practitioner and asked for treatment through prayer. This was immediately given, and the practitioner also arranged for a Christian Science nurse to come. The nurse dressed the wounds, and recommended that I go to a Christian Science nursing facility, where I could be looked after more easily. I was grateful to the nurse for taking me there, and I received skilled and cheerful care from the nursing staff.

I was governed by the law of love.
