MANY YEARS AGO I suffered from migraine headaches. This had gone on for some years. I had often found relief through something I had read in Science and Health, but at other times I spent a long day suffering.
One morning I woke with an extremely painful headache. I immediately got out of bed with the intention of calling my office to tell them I would not be in. Right in the middle of the thoughts roiling around in my mind, suddenly the words "The Christ is here, all dreams of error breaking" (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 202) came to me. At first I ignored it, but when it continued insistently, I recognized it as a message from God.
I stopped what I was doing, got out my Hymnal and read the entire first verse of the hymn:
