Testimonies of Healing

An answer to life's questions

From the March 2002 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I HAD BEEN TAUGHT the Old Testament in Hebrew, but even as a little child I felt there was a mystery — veiled and secret — in those sacred pages. I searched for answers, often in the wrong places, and studied Buddhism, spiritualism, psychology, philosophy. There was no answer to the deep longing for a fulfilling answer to the questions, "Who am I? What is my highest purpose?" Then I met Mrs. Eddy through her book. I can remember clearly reading "... leaning on the sustaining infinite" and having an awakening jolt of recognition. Finally the honest ring of Truth. God bless Mrs. Eddy.
