I work for a large company, and last autumn we were once again facing a major reorganization, the object of which was to eliminate various positions so that we could work more "economically." That's happening in many areas, and this time it hit my department. Some positions were cut, and I made an effort to get new jobs for these employees. But this well-meant effort didn't have the intended success. Although I tried really hard, I couldn't find anything for them.
So I turned to God and thought about the fact that in His divine plan and His perfect creation, there must be a task for each one—an interesting, challenging, and satisfying purpose. I held to this thought and stopped my hectic efforts to help these employees. I turned more to prayer. After some days I heard from other departments in the company that they had job openings. This enabled me to find new, interesting, and satisfying positions for all the employees within a relatively short time.
