A place for healing ...

From the June 2004 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Mary Baker Eddy expected that anyone who read Science and Health would find help and healing. Visitors to Christian Science Reading Rooms attest to this.

Brisbane, Australia—My yoga teacher gave me a copy of Science and Health, and before I'd even finished the first chapter, I knew it was what I had needed for so long. I had suffered from chronic depression for years, and I was crying out for spiritual comfort, but I didn't know where to find it. The understanding I'm gaining from Science and Health of my unbreakable relationship to divine Love has given me more confidence, peace, certainty, and joy than I could ever have dreamed possible. Once I'd read the book cover to cover, I knew I had to find out more about Christian Science. I had heard of Christian Science Reading Rooms, so I soon found our local one, and before long, I was visiting regularly to read, study, and discuss what I was learning with the staff. Through the Reading Room, I found not only a wealth of books, magazines, and other materials to help me in my study of Christian Science, but also a connection to a whole worldwide family of spiritual seekers who, like me, have been transformed by all they're learning from Science and Health. The blessings just keep on coming!
