. Long before she became a spiritual healer, Mrs. Bouffé had learned to view the world with an artist's eye—to look at what everyone else looks at and see something different. She put these skills to use as a lecturer in Parisian museums and in her work at the art institute of the Sorbonne.For Bouffé, it wasn't a big leap to the vision needed to be a Christian Science practitioner. "A metaphysician loves spiritual reality," she explains, "and strives to see beyond the physical appearance to the perfection of the divine creation." Now a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science, Bouffé lives with her husband near Paris. She spoke with the editors of the French edition of The Herald of Christian Science, from which this interview is adapted.
What led you to devote your life to spiritual healing?
