One day at school during p.e. (gym class) I was trying to jump hurdles and fell on my knee. The first thing I thought when I fell was that I was God's reflection, and that God didn't have a hurt knee so I couldn't either. This is what I've learned in Sunday School and through other healings I've had—that what's true about God is true about me, and what's not true about God couldn't be true about me because God made me in His image.
During the next class period, I went to the library and remembered the website spirituality.com. I logged on and researched the definition of man in the online version of Science and Health (see p. 475). This definition has helped me before, because it talks about how God made and sees me, and that only means good.
My dad had told me earlier that I could replace "man" with my name, Katie. So, when I read it to myself I said: "Katie is not matter; she is not made up of brain, blood, bones, and other material elements. The Scriptures inform me that I am made in the image and likeness of God."
